Between the Bohinjska Bela and Nomenj
is a narrow ravine with high rockwalls. At the bottom flows Sava Bohinjka
river. There is enought room for a road and a railway. From the left side
of the river flows a modest but permanent tributary. It's lower part is
a slide flow waterfall with the height at least 200 m. It might be the highest
permanent waterfall in Slovenia (...it is not checked yet).
It is visible from the main road - at the abandoned
railway station.
Nearby is a karst spring with non
permanent waterfall with the height of 70 feet. To the karts spring
is no path so the only way is to find the river bed of the brook, which
is the first one after the right turn from the main road to the rut after
the first bridge from Soteska to Nomenj (about 200 m from the turn - bridge)
