The sight of Rogatec is Strmol mansion. The prime castle was first mentioned in 1436. Actually, it was at first a defence tower, which has later developed into the castle. In the late 17th century the castle
changed his defence role and was later used for different purposes. The present manor house has a renaissance structure with the influence of baroque.
The manor house was renovated in 2003 and declared as a cultural monument. Inside the castle is reconstructed black kitchen with the open heart and the stone
hood. Renovated halls are used for cultural or social events.
