Radensko polje is located 3 km southeastern
from Grosupje. The largest settlement nearby is Velika Racna.
The feature of this polje is a rising (hum) Kopanj,
which is in Slovenia the only example of such morphological karst feature.
The rising is famous by Slovenian poem France Preseren (from 1807 to
1808). The sight of Kopanj rising is a permanent spring where water
flows even in a drough season. The polje is 4500 long (N-S) and the
altitude is ~ 329 m. Radensko polje is a nice example of polje (karst
feature).
