The western area of the Dleskovska plateau (Lučki dedec (2023 m above sea level) - Vršiči (1980 m above sea level) - Vežica (1965 m above sea level) covers ~ 153 hectares. In the north of this area From Lučki dedec From Lučki dedac to Vežica and further towards the southern edge of this area, Čohavnica is a precipice rocky edge above Petkovi njivi and further towards the valley of Kamniška Bela.
In the south, the Presedljaj pass (1614 m above sea level) borders the Kamniška Bela valley in the west and the Lučka bela valley in the east. The Lučka Bela valley also borders the eastern area of the Dleskov plateau to the south.
The area is distinctly karst with many sinkholes, karst caves and abysses (abyss Beach, Abyss of two suns ...).
Due to the many abysses, great care must be taken during winter tours or night walks in the area. The area between Vežica, Vršiči and Čohavnica is also a grazing mountain in summer.

The plateau of Dleskovška planota (the old people's name 'Veža' („The Vestibule“) is a karst plateau in the central-east part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The area of Dleskovška planota extends over an area of 25 km2 from the altitudes of approximately 1500 m with several heaped peaks (Vršiči (1980 m n.v.), Dleskovec (1969 m n.v.), Tolsti vrh (1986 m n.v.), Deska (1970 m n.v.) ...) and the edge peaks Vežica (1965 m n.v.), Lučki Dedec (2023 m n.v.), Poljšaove device (2028 m n.v.), Križevnik (1910 m n.v.) to the highest saddle peak Veliki vrh - Velika Zelenica (2110-2114m n.v.). Such a heightened area is atypical of the plateau. The newer name is after the mount Dleskovec (1969 m n.v.), located in the central part of the plateau.

The area along the slopes covers 45 km2. The slopes of the plateau extend from the Podvolovjek valley on the southern slope (586 m n.v.), along which the left tributary of the Savinja Lučnica River flows to the confluence of Brložnica and Lučka Bela, which are tributaries of Lučnica. It is bounded to the north by the confluence in the west by the 5.6 km long Lučka Bela valley. Towards the north-west of the plateau, the edge of the area rises to Presedlje (1613 m n.v.), northeast to Vežica (1965 m n.v.) and northeast to Lučko dedec (2023 m n.v.) and to the mountain piedmotic polje Korošica.

The area of the plateau then turns under peak Mala Ojstrica (2017 m n.v.) north towards Molička planina and rock shelter near the Kocbek mountain shelter. In the immediate vicinity of Roban's corner is the rocky hill Molička peč (1829 m n.v.), known for the chapel of St. Cyril and Method. The six-kilometer north edge of the plateau in the north-east direction descends steeply into Robanov kot with a thousand-meter precipice wall. The highest peak to the east of the Molička planina is Velika Zelenica (2114 m n.v.), followed by the peaks of Polske device in the northeast direction. The highest peaks of the Poljse device ridge are 2028 m (western peak) and 1879 m (eastern peak). The ridge – the noth edge of the plateau in the northeast is completed by Križevnik Mountain (1910 m n.v.). Far north-east, the plateau descends towards the confluence of the torrential Bela, which flows from Roban's Corner and the Savinja River (592 m n.v.). The eastern edge of the Plateau of Dleskovka is completed by the Savinja River valley, which receives a right tributary of Lučnica in Luče, which flows from the Podvolovjek valley.

The characteristic feature of the plateau is the larch forests and the karst terrain with numerous deep abysses (Zadnikovo brezno, Ledena devica, Brezno pod Moličko pečjo, Brezno sv. Vida) that make up larger cave systems up to the upper forest boundary.

On the plateau Dleskovška planota there are pasures (Vodole, Jezerca, Podvežak, Ravne, Molička...), which also represent an important cultural landscape of the area.

The area of the plateau, with its marked and marked trails, is interesting for both hikers and mountaineers, as it provides easy access to the two-thousandths and access to the very heart of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
