Dleskovec (1965 m above sea level) is located in the central part of the Dleskovška planota, which is named after this peak. The peak wituh the clear vista to the mountains and most area of Central Slovenia, is located south-east of the Sedelce mountain pass (1800 m above sea level) and north-west of Dolge Trate pasture (1850 m above sea level).
The peak is easily accessible from Planina Ravne (1500 m above sea level), from where it takes an hour and a half of moderate walking. From Planina Ravne to Planina Dolga Trata, there is initially a relatively steep ascent through a larch forest, which turns into a moderate slope along a well-trodden path through bushes. On Dolga Trata, an unmarked, less-trodden folding path leads to the west past the byte (a larger cross is placed on the right) to the kala (10 min. walk), where cattle graze in the summer months. A few dozen meters west is a signpost to Molička planina. An unmarked and poorly traveled path to the top leads to Dleskovec past the hill to the right. When looking for a passage on the leveling below the summit, it is necessary to keep to the right and follow an almost imperceptible path through the bushes to the summit - 10 min.
