The sixth stage starts at Goreljek na Pokljuki near the Šport hotel. Most of the route is a descent from the karst alpine plateau of Pokljuka. Pokljuka is the largest rounded forest area in the Triglav National Park. At an altitude of 1000 - 1400 m there are 6300 hectares, mostly spruce forest, which means that the descent will take place mostly through shady spruce forests in the south-east direction to Gorjuša, and then to Lake Bohinj in the west direction.

The sixth stage begins at Goreljek na Pokljuki and already at the beginning of the route is the natural landmark Šotno barje Goreljek (high peat swampland). Wooden, engraved signposts lead us from the Šport hotel to the high peat swampland and past holiday resorts hidden on forest clearings, about six kilometers south-east towards Gorjuše. The route runs mostly along forest cart tracks and partly along macadam roads.

At the settlement of Gorjuše, the path turns to the west, first along a meadow cart track, and then passes into a two-kilometer walk along a fairly busy asphalt road connecting Gorjuše and Koprivnik. Extreme caution is required here due to cyclists, motorcyclists, and heavy trucks transporting logs. Five hundred meters before Koprivnik, turn off the asphalt road north onto a meadow cart track that loops into the settlement of Koprivnik from the north, leading to the Parish Church of the Ascension of St. Cross.

From the church, continue west along the village road towards the Vodnikov razglednik lookout point. Signposts lead past the lookout (100m south) along a marked path that intersects the winding asphalt road towards Jereka. Use great care when crossing these roads. The transitions are marked and follow the track perpendicularly downwards.

The path leads through the village of Jereka, past the church of St. Margaret. At the crossroads, follow the signpost right onto the asphalt road north. After 400m, turn left onto a cart track leading to Bohinjska Češnjica. Continue through the settlement towards the foot of the Senožeta ski resort. Head north into the center of Srednja vas, passing the "Pri Hrvatu" inn and the bridge over the Ribnica stream. Continue west across Studor to Stara Fužina, ending at the branch towards the center of the Triglav National Park (approx. 800m from Lake Bohinj).
