The sixth stage starts at Goreljek na Pokljuki near the Šport hotel. Most of the route is a descent from the karst alpine plateau of Pokljuka. Pokljuka is the largest rounded forest area in the Triglav National Park. At an altitude of 1000 - 1400 m there are 6300 hectares, mostly spruce forest, which means that the descent will take place mostly through shady spruce forests in the south-east direction to Gorjuša, and then to Lake Bohinj in the west direction.

Detailed description:

The sixth stage begins at Goreljek na Pokljuki and already at the beginning of the route is the natural landmark Šotno barje Goreljek (high peat swampland). Wooden, engraved signposts lead us from the Šport hotel to the high peat swampland and past holiday resorts hidden on larger or smaller forest clearings, about six kilometers south-east towards Gorjuše. The route runs mostly along forest cart tracks, but partly also along dusty macadam roads between holiday resorts and for a short time also on paved narrow roads. At the settlement of Gorjuše, the path turns to the west, first along a meadow cart track, and then passes into a two-kilometer walk along a fairly busy asphalt road that connects the settlement of Gorjuše and Koprivnik. Extreme caution is required at this turnoff, as there is the possibility of a collision between cyclists or motorcyclists in the summer. However, heavy trucks transporting logs are quite common. (!!!). Five hundred meters before Koprivnik, it is necessary to pay attention to the turn-off from the asphalt road in the direction of the north to the meadow cart track. The cart track makes a kilometer-long bend, so we come to the settlement of Koprivnik from the north, and continue to the Parish Church of the Ascension of St. Cross. From the church we continue west along the village asphalt road in the direction of the Vodnikov razglednik lookout point. Signposts lead us past Vodnik's lookout, which is a hundred meters south, along a marked path that intersects a winding asphalt road in the direction of the settlement of Jereka. Great care is required when crossing roads. The transitions from the asphalt road to the track are marked with floor markings and logically follow the track perpendicularly downwards. The path leads along the sidewalk through the village of Jereka, past the church of St. Margaret. At the crossroads there is a signpost that directs us to the right on an asphalt road to the north. After a 400 m walk along the edge of the asphalt road, there is a left turn to the cart track, which leads to the settlement of Bohinjska Češnjica in the length of one kilometer. We continue along the main village road through the settlement. Before the end of the settlement, there is a signpost to the left on a narrow asphalt road, first south and then west towards the foot of the Senožeta ski resort south of Srednja vas (1km). From the ski resort we head north and reach the central part of Srednja vas. The narrow village road then leads us through Srednja vas past the "Pri Hrvatu" inn to the bridge over the Ribnica stream, and then under the church of Sv. Martina. We continue west across the settlement of Studor and then to Stara Fužina, where we again follow the sidewalk through the settlement to a branch of the road towards the center of the Triglav National Park in Bohinj (approximately 800 m by air to Lake Bohinj).
