Grosser Speikkogel (2140 m) is the highest peak of the Koralpe Mountain massif and the fourth highest peak of the Noric Alps. The Koralalpe Mountain massif forms the natural border between the Austrian states of Styria and Carinthia.
The prominent architectural feature of the summit is a monumental radar station of the Austrian Armed Forces, which is a significant landmark visible from great distances across the Klagenfurt basin and Styrian hills.
