Russian chapel (virtual excursion). Mountain road over the
Vršič pass was built up in the spring 1916 by more than 10.000 Russians
who were war prisoners. Prisoners built this wooden church in a memory
to a huge suffer and died companions. Nearby the church is a tomb where
is a pyramid with the Russian text: 'To the sons of Russia'. info |
