The highest peak of the 5 km wide Olseva ridge is Golca (1929 m). The western part of the Olseva is traversed by the Austrian
border (Obel kamen - 1911 m). Olseva is also the border between Stajerska
(Syria) and Koroska (Carinthia). From the top of the Olseva is a great
panorama to the northern side of
the Kamnik Alps, Logarska dolina (valley), Raduha Mountain, Karavanke Alps, Austrian and part of
the Carinthia. Olseva is famous by the Potočka
zijalka cave. Three hours of hike are needed from Solcava or one and
a half hour from the Podolseva (Sv. Duh) to
the top of the ridge. |
