Sodražica is the municipal centre on the west-nothern side of Ribnica valley. The central part of the settlement is the square from which leads road Ribnica - Cerknica. The most remarkable building is a parish church of Mary Magdalen which boasts with 300 years old church organ. Nearby the settlement is a famous baroque church and a place of pilgrimage in Nova Štifta. The most beautiful vista to polje of Ribnica is from Sinovica (739 m). |
