| Access:
From Cerkno to Poce (3 km).In a centre of village Poce is a sign to
the mountain Porezen. At the end of the village are two signs: one to Porezen
and other to Otavnik. Follow that one to the Otavnik (Otavski vrh). Rut
leads to the ravine of Zaposki potok (brook) - 10 min. of walk. Rut leads
on the right side of the brook, up to the brook, after crossing the brook.
Follow the rut - and the ravine become narrower. The first, 8 high waterfall
could be admired here. After another 5 min. of walk the ravine become even
more narrow and about 30 m high and thin (but permanent) waterfall of the
left affluent could be seen. Rut turns into the path which leads below
the rockwall. After a few minutes there is a 10 m. high waterfall. It is
interesting to see a right affluent spring which flows into the top of
the waterfall.
Path to the third waterfall from here is not
recommended - only for experienced climbers: continue to the left of the
waterfall (right bank). |
