Valley of Suha Pisnica is one of the unknovn areas
of Slovenia. Vrsic pass is very popular pass with fabuolos panoramic view
to the high peaks. Many legends are hidden in the rockwall of Prisojnik
- about giant pagant girl - Ajdovska deklica. Her stoned face is still
noticable in the rockwall. Leftside from her face is a giant Bishofs head
and a bit more left is a great waterfall into the Devils channel - "Slap
v Hudicevem zlebu". It seem to be not approchable... but it is a fine and
safe 30 min. hike to the bottom of the fall from the Koca na gozdu (cottage
at the road to Vrsic pass). It could be a familly hike there - no special
boots are required. |
