Waterfalls of the Blatnica brook are accessible from the settlement of Begunje. There is a gorge with three waterfalls with heights ranging from 5 to 12 m.
Walking the path at the bottom of the gorge is a fantastic escape from the summer heat. While the gorge looks wild, a narrow path follows the brook upward. Some parts of the path are very narrow, so sturdy boots are recommended.
The path is not marked but is quite easy to find. From Begunje, follow the road toward Sv. Peter. When the road passes the Blatnica brook, follow the path along the right bank.
The first and second waterfalls are easily missed if you are not careful, while the third waterfall marks the end of this part of the gorge. It is about a 30-minute easy walk from the last houses in Begunje.
