Velika planina is a plateau on the south side
of the central part of Kamnik Alps. Architectural characteristic are chalets
with the oval roofs which are streching to the ground. The plateau is easy
accessed from Kamnik direction via 'Sv. Primoz' or with the cable lift
from Kamniška Bistrica. Velika planina is a touristic and ski
centre during the winter.
