Hamlets of Vipolže are situated on the edge of Goriska Brda (hills) towards the lowland of Friulia. The remarkableness of the settlemet is a castle which is actually a fortified villa "ville-castello". It use to be an economic centre of this wine-growing region. The building is in a bad condition nowday.
