Reconstruction of the Roman Wall (1928). Architect Jože Plečnik transformed the remains of the southern wall of the Roman city Emona into a monumental public space.

His intervention included the preservation of the original masonry, the addition of a colonnade, stone details, and a distinct pyramid, all set within a landscaped park environment. This project is a prime example of Plečnik's ability to weave ancient heritage into the modern urban fabric of Ljubljana.
