Biba Lake (1,397 m n.v.) is situated on the Menina planina plateau, approximately 600 m northwest of Planina Biba.
This shallow lake measures 40 m in length and 30 m in width (as recorded in May 2008). It lies within a 200 m long valley amidst a heavily karstic landscape. The bottom of the basin is watertight and swampy, allowing water to collect; consequently, the lake likely expands significantly in surface area following rainy periods.
In 1987, the lake was officially declared a natural monument due to its ecological and geological significance. It serves as a unique aquatic habitat within the high-altitude karst environment of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
