Kamniški dedec is a 1583 m high mountain located on the southwestern ridge of the Zeleniške špice above the Kamniška Bistrica Valley, Kamniška Bela Valley to the east, and Repov kot to the west.
The summit is highly scenic but not marked; the very steep approach from the junction of the hiking trail to Kamniško sedlo and Repov kot runs through forested terrain. The ascent takes approximately 2.5 hours from the Kamniška Bistrica mountain lodge.
