Medana is pleasant village and a vine centre in Goriska Brda. This area is famous for the quality wines and also by Days of Poetry and Wine which make this small village known all over the World. Here was born Slovenian poet Alojz Gradnik who loved his home village so much that he wrote several poems dedicated to Medana.
