Dobrovo settlement is the economic centre of Goriska Brda. Renaissance castle with some Baroque characteristics was built app. in 1600. It has a square ground plan with four towers at the corners.

The cellar of the renaissance castle at Dobrovo hosts enotheque 'Vinoteka Brda'.
