| Eze is picturesque village in Provence. It is situated on the hill with the elevation of 429 m, just nearby the Mediterranean sea, inbetween Monaco and Nice. On the top of the hill are the ruins of the small castle from the 12th century. The village is restored as the former medieval village and is today a popular tourist attraction with the beautiful vista to the coast of Frenc Riviera. The first record of the settlement is from the 4th century, with the name Avizio. |
