Speloncato (Speluncatu) is settlement protected as the architectural heritage in a department Haute-Corse on Corsica island. The settlement is famus by, and the name was given by the natural phenomena when curiously on the 8th of April and 9th of September, the sun disappears behind the mountain at the end of the afternoon and reappears later by the natural stone window. The building which dominates over the settlement is the church of St. Michel which was built in 17th century and it's a typical example of Corsican Baroque churches. |
