Olmeto (Ulmetu)

| Olmeto (Ulmetu) is a settlement and municipality in the French department of the Corse-du-Sud region - the island of Corsica. The place is situated in the southwestern part of the island of Corsica over the Valinco Bay, 19 km north of Sartène. Olmeto is the seat of the canton of the same name, in addition to the municipalities of Arbellara, Fozzano, Propriano, Santa Maria-Figaniella and Viggianello with 5,100 inhabitants. The Canton is an integral part of the Sartène County. |
